For the last several years, SFYLAX has been hosting 2 Free Beginner Lacrosse clinics each year.   Typically, one in the Fall and another in Winter.   These provide boys in grades K-8, who have never played organized lacrosse from any school district, an opportunity to learn about and try the sport of lacrosse at no cost.   Our fall clinic is typically outdoors, and our winter clinic is indoors and requires the boys to only have a lacrosse stick (we can provide one if you can’t borrow one from a friend or neighbor).  We use soft lacrosse balls and don’t have any contact, so no other equipment is required.   Our youth coaches and youth players, high school coaches and players and board members are all on hand to share their love of the sport and answer any questions you have about the sport and/or our program.  We will advertise these clinics on our website and our Facebook page, so like/follow us to be sure not to miss the registration for our next one.
