SFYLAX Girls Lacrosse FAQ
Q: Where can I find helpful information?
A: Registration info, league info, announcements, etc. can all be found on the SFYLAX webpage, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
- Website: https://www.springfordlacrosse.com
- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/springfordlacrosse
- Instagram: SFyouthlax (@sfyouthlax) • Instagram photos and videos
Q: How will we register for the Spring season?
A: This will be centralized onto the existing TeamSnap platform that SFYLAX has used for many years. TeamSnap serves as the central hub for registration, team rostering, scheduling, and communications from the club and coaches.
- If you don’t already have a Team Snap account, you will be asked to create one when you register.
- You will also need a US Lacrosse membership that is valid through the Spring lacrosse season. This number will be validated upon registration.
Q: How much will it cost; will it change?
A: Registration costs are the same as boy's lacrosse. SFYLAX offers registration fee incentives for coaching, assisting, joining the Board, and other significant volunteering initiatives. SFYLAX also offers sibling discounts that are
given as credits after registration/payment. These sibling discounts will extend across both the boys' and girls' programs!
Q: Will we have new uniforms?
A: SFYLAX will be using the same uniforms as during the 2024 season. Players may choose to use their uniforms from last year or order a new one for this upcoming season. We also have a spirit wear store that will remain open!
Q: Is there any Mandatory fundraising?
A: Yes, SFYLAX for many years, has run a very successful fundraising drive through the sale of discount cards. Discounts cover many of your favorite local restaurants and easily pay for themselves after only a few visits. Incentives and prizes are offered to those who sell the most cards. Fundraising is mandatory and you will prepay for your fundraising cards with registration!
them. Fundraising efforts help us keep our registration fees low, fund purchases of safety equipment (we have an AED at each field), fund for replacement equipment such as nets, our scholarship fund, tournaments/playdays, and other developmental and fun events.
Q: What league do we play in?
A: The girls play in the PAGLA league.
