FAQ - Limerick Lacrosse transition to Spring-Ford

Q: What will happen to Existing Limerick content, website, and social media
etc?
A: This will all be retired, and where appropriate, the content will move to the Spring-Ford
webpage, Facebook, and Instagram pages.

Q: How will we register for the Spring?
A:  This will be centralized onto the existing TeamSnap platform that SFYLAX has used for
many years. TeamSnap serves as the central hub for registration, team rostering, scheduling as
well as all communications from the club and coaches. No more searching emails for excel
sheets showing your kid’s schedule.  If you don’t already have a Team Snap account, you will
be asked to create one when you register. You will also need a US Lacrosse membership that
is valid through the Spring lacrosse season. This number will be validated upon registration

Q: How much will it cost; will it change?
A: Registration costs will be aligned to the boys’ program. If you register before 12/31, 3rd -8th
grade is $100 and K-2 is $50. Prices go up after that date. This does not include the uniform
which will be purchased separately (see next question). SFYLAX offers registration fee
incentives for coaching, assisting, joining the Board, and other significant volunteering initiatives.
More info can be found on the website HERE. SFYLAX also offers sibling discounts that are
given as credits after registration/payment. These sibling discounts will extend across both
programs now that we are merged!

Q: Will we have new uniforms?
A: SFYLAX gets uniforms and other Spirit wear from Stollers Sports and operates a year-round
store. The girls’ uniforms will utilize the same design and color scheme as the boys. We are
working with Stollers to get a uniform mockup and determine pricing as well as expand our spirit
wear offering. On the boys’ side, we do not change the design so some of the boys are able to
get multiple years of use out of the uniform. Our store can be found HERE and we will notify
you once it has been updated with the new offerings/jerseys

Q: Is there any Mandatory fundraising?
A: Yes, SFYLAX for many years, has run a very successful fundraising drive through the
sale of discount cards. Discounts cover many of your favorite local restaurants and easily
pay for themselves after only a few visits. Incentives and prizes are offered to those who
sell the most cards. Fundraising is mandatory and we ask that you sell 5 cards at $20/card.
We will also have opportunities for players to sell cards outside some of the restaurants.
Some people choose to buy the 5 cards and give them as gifts, others choose to sell
them. We use this money to keep our registration fees low, fund purchases of safety
equipment (we have an AED for each of our boys’ divisions and will start planning for the
girls), fund for replacement equipment such as nets, our scholarship fund, our yearly
tournament, and other developmental and fun events. As we merge the 2 programs, we
will look at any gaps we have between the 2 and look to close those.

Q: Are we playing in a different league?
A: The girls will continue in the PAGLA league. There will be no change, other than team name and jerseys. The boys (3-8) participate in SEPYLA while the K-2 participate
in the DVLL which SFYLAX operates.
