SFYLAX Scholarship Program
Established in 2020, the Spring-Ford Youth Lacrosse (SFYLAX) Scholarship Program supports graduating seniors as they continue their education beyond high school. This scholarship reflects our commitment to investing in the future of our student-athletes.
Eligibility
Applicants must be graduating seniors and current members of the Spring-Ford High School Boys or Girls Lacrosse teams. In addition, applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria:

Played for SFYLAX (or formerly Limerick Lacrosse) for four (4) or more years

Served as a consistent youth lacrosse volunteer for four (4) or more years
-
A combination of playing and volunteering totaling four (4) or more years
There is no requirement for recipients to continue playing lacrosse after high school, nor is there a requirement to attend Spring-Ford Area School District.
Scholarship Details

Two scholarships will be awarded annually (one Boys, one Girls)

Funds may be used toward any post-secondary education, including:

Four-year colleges

Two-year colleges
-
Trade or technical schools

The scholarship is awarded for the upcoming academic year

No repayment required
Application Process
Applicants must submit:

A completed student application

A completed recommender’s form
Both forms are required for consideration.
Deadline
All application materials must be submitted by March 31.
